Based on the recommendation of the Regional Hygienic Station of the Central Bohemia Region , we recommend that all patients wear respiratory protection ( always without an exhalation valve) that meets at least all technical conditions and requirements, including a filtration efficiency of at least 94% according to the relevant standards (e.g. FFP2, KN 95), which prevents the spread of droplets, for the entire visit to the Diagnostic Centre.
Children who have not yet started compulsory schooling do not need to wear protective equipment; for children under 15 years of age, a surgical drape is sufficient.
People with symptoms of any infectious disease should prefer to contact the outpatient clinic by telephone before visiting in person.
After returning from a foreign holiday, especially if travellers have used public transport or participated in activities during their holiday where they were in close contact with a large number of strangers without respiratory protective equipment, it is recommended to postpone visiting the ambulance for at least 3-5 days.
