In terms of medical specialties, the polyclinic focuses primarily on maternal, child and adolescent care. However, as a modern provider of diagnostic and outpatient care, we also provide selected health services for adult patients. AKESO POLICLINIC thus offers its services for the whole family, in a very pleasant environment, with state-of-the-art medical technology and digital operation - i.e. without unnecessary paperwork. Our polyclinic is a continuation of the medical care of the Hospital Hořovice and the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Our facilities are contractual partners of all insurance companies.

To ensure high-quality examinations for our clients, AKESO POLICLINIC is equipped with state-of-the-art technology: a Siemens Magnetom Vida MRI scanner with a 3-Tesla magnetic field and a Siemens Ysio Max X-ray machine.

The Magnetom Vida is a state-of-the-art imaging device capable of examining patients—regardless of their body type —at very high resolution and in a short amount of time. The device has sensors built into the examination table that detect patient movement and filter out movements caused by natural breathing. This provides physicians with unparalleled imaging data to establish an accurate diagnosis.

For patients who are anxious about being in an enclosed space, we offer special glasses with an audiovisual program to wear during the examination. This unique technology also makes examinations of young children significantly easier and more pleasant.

The unique Siemens Ysio Max X-ray machine offers simultaneous movement in all axes. It is so versatile that it can even image patients in wheelchairs. It features the Automatic Ortho function, which speeds up the process of capturing long images, such as those of the lower extremities and spine. It can capture up to four images of a selected area at once, automatically determine the required number of exposures, and combine them into a single composite image. It also achieves excellent results at lower radiation doses, which is important when examining children.

Our clinic is equipped with high-quality ultrasound machines that enable a wide range of examinations of the abdominal organs, soft tissues, blood vessels, and the heart. They are also suitable for examining pediatric patients.

We provide images from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and X-ray (RTG) examinations on a flash drive for a fee of 150 CZK. You can use the saved images for further specialized examinations or consultations at other healthcare facilities.

We typically send the examination report to the referring physician at the facility that issued the request within one week of the examination. Upon request, we can also print it out or send it via email.
