In terms of medical specialties, the polyclinic focuses primarily on maternal, child and adolescent care. However, as a modern provider of diagnostic and outpatient care, we also provide selected health services for adult patients. AKESO POLICLINIC thus offers its services for the whole family, in a very pleasant environment, with state-of-the-art medical technology and digital operation - i.e. without unnecessary paperwork. Our polyclinic is a continuation of the medical care of the Hospital Hořovice and the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Our facilities are contractual partners of all insurance companies.

Our AKESO POLICLINIC offers a wide range of health services for children, adolescents and adults in its outpatient clinics . In short, we provide:

Spectrum of care provided

The surgical outpatient clinic provides referrals for surgical treatment of conditions such as hernias, gallstones, varicose veins and the full spectrum of day case surgery. If surgical treatment is required, we arrange for patients to have surgery at our sister Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. At AKESO POLICLINIC we provide you with a comprehensive pre-operative examination and help you to complete all the documentation required for surgery.

Our surgical team focuses primarily on surgical treatment:

  • Gallbladder diseases such as gallstones, polyps, chronic inflammation
  • chronic appendicitis
  • minimally invasive and open hernia surgery in a day surgery mode
  • surgical removal of varicose veins by open method including removal of the entire affected vena saphena magna and parva

You can make an appointment with us on the recommendation of your general physician or other specialist, but also if you yourself suspect a hernia or varicose veins. In such a case, we are able to provide you with the necessary examinations and subsequent diagnostics within the AKESO POLICLINIC.

In the same outpatient clinic, we will also provide you with post-operative care, including all necessary checks and further examinations.
