AKESO POLICLINIC

In terms of medical specialties, the polyclinic focuses primarily on maternal, child and adolescent care. However, as a modern provider of diagnostic and outpatient care, we also provide selected health services for adult patients. AKESO POLICLINIC thus offers its services for the whole family, in a very pleasant environment, with state-of-the-art medical technology and digital operation - i.e. without unnecessary paperwork. Our polyclinic is a continuation of the medical care of the Hospital Hořovice and the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Our facilities are contractual partners of all insurance companies.

Our AKESO POLICLINIC offers a wide range of health services for children, adolescents and adults in its outpatient clinics . In short, we provide:

due to the vacation of MUDr. Chudomel, there will be no afternoon office hours on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. For acute questions , please call during regular office hours from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. when MUDr. Vyhnánková will be present. We will not be able to deal with your queries after 2 pm.

In our AKESO POLICLINIC, a practical pediatrician provides comprehensive care for clients from newborn age to young adulthood. He provides preventive, curative and long-term care as well as care for acute and chronic patients.

Right in the clinic, pediatric and adolescent physicians can work with specialists from various pediatric disciplines, as well as take advantage of state-of-the-art MRI, ultrasound, X-ray or laboratory facilities. Long waiting times, transfers to specialist examinations and the stress of unfamiliar surroundings are eliminated.

Childhood and adolescence is a very important period in a person's life. That is why we prefer long-term cooperation between the physician and the child and his/her parents. Mutual trust and a human approach are the necessary foundations for proper care and supervision of the child's optimal physical, psychological and social development.

 

We offer examinations using the Plusoptix device, which is a non-contact method of measuring vision.

The examination itself takes only one second and is suitable for children from 6 months to 6 years of age.

Price of the Plusoptix examination:

Patients up to 4 years (0-3.99) of age have the exam fully covered by insurance.

From the age of 4 years and over the fee is 600 CZK (Valid for registered and non-registered patients of PLDD AKESO POLICLINIC)
