AKESO POLICLINIC

In terms of medical specialties, the polyclinic focuses primarily on maternal, child and adolescent care. However, as a modern provider of diagnostic and outpatient care, we also provide selected health services for adult patients. AKESO POLICLINIC thus offers its services for the whole family, in a very pleasant environment, with state-of-the-art medical technology and digital operation - i.e. without unnecessary paperwork. Our polyclinic is a continuation of the medical care of the Hospital Hořovice and the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Our facilities are contractual partners of all insurance companies.

Our AKESO POLICLINIC offers a wide range of health services for children, adolescents and adults in its outpatient clinics . In short, we provide:

At our AKESO POLICLINIC, the paediatrician providescomprehensive care for patients from newborns right through to young adults. They provide preventive, therapeutic and long-term care, as well as care for patients with both acute and chronic conditions.
 
Right here at the polyclinic, paediatricians can collaborate with specialists from various paediatric fields, as well as make use of state-of-the-art MRI, ultrasound, X-ray and laboratory facilities. This eliminates long waiting times, the need to travel for specialist examinations and the stress of unfamiliar surroundings.
 
Childhood and adolescence are very important periods in a person’s life. That is why we favour a long-term relationship between the physician and the child and their parents. Mutual trust and a personalised approach are essential foundations for proper care and supervision of the child’s optimal physical, mental and social development.

 

We offer examinations usingthe Plusoptix device, which is a non-contact method of measuring vision. 

The examination itself takes just one second and is suitable for children aged between 6 months and 6 years.

Cost of the Plusoptix examination:

For patients aged up to 4 years (0–3.99), the examination is fully covered by health insurance.

For those aged 4 years and over, the fee is 600 CZK (applies to both registered and unregistered patients at the AKESO POLICLINIC).
