We also offer very frequent appointments in the area of gallstones, varices of the lower limbs or larger skin or subcutaneous lesions," says Petr Zeithaml, MD, Head of the Surgical Department at Hořovice Hospital.
"In the outpatient department, we are able to recommend the most suitable surgical procedure, which will be performed at our workplace in the Hořovice Hospital or at the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. For selected diagnoses, the operation can be performed in the mode of one-day surgery, where the patient arrives at the hospital on the day of the operation and is discharged the following day," adds the chief surgeon.
The type and extent of the procedure chosen is always the result of a comprehensive pre-operative examination, the patient's preference and the patient's agreement with the surgeon, taking into account the size of the finding, the type of disease, associated diseases and other factors.
It is not necessary to have a GP referral form issued to the outpatient clinic. Appointments can be made through the reception at 233555000.
