The Saturday outpatient clinic for children and young people continues even as the new school year begins

The AKESO POLICLINIC paediatric out-of-hours service on Saturdays continues throughout the summer holidays and beyond, even after the start of the new school year. In addition to our registered patients, unregistered children from Prague 13 can also continue to use the service.

The paediatric and adolescent outpatient clinic is open every Saturday from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm.
Physicians here provide basic examinations, diagnosis and treatment for common childhood illnesses.

When can you visit the children’s and adolescents’ outpatient clinic on Saturdays?

Parents can use the Saturday outpatient clinic in the event of:

  • sudden fever
  • a sore throat
  • respiratory problems
  • other acute medical conditions requiring examination.

When should you seek other care?

The Saturday paediatric outpatient clinic is not intended for injuries, serious or life-threatening conditions, severe abdominal pain, specialised ENT problems or other conditions requiring hospital or specialist care.

If necessary, parents can also use the paediatric admissions and A&E outpatient clinic at Hospital Hořovice, which is part of the AKESO healthcare group.

Visits to the paediatric and adolescent outpatient clinic on Saturdays are only possible by prior telephone appointment. Booking helps to ensure the smooth running of the outpatient clinic and the shortest possible waiting times.
