AKESO POLICLINIKA provides comprehensive medical care for children and adults for the fourth year and is constantly expanding not only within the premises, but also adding doctors and new specialties. After the recently opened dermatology outpatient clinic, we have now added another one. "For adults, we now have cardiology and neurology outpatient clinics. We have also opened a diabetes clinic and a new gynaecologist has joined our ranks. All of the new outpatient clinics are accepting patients and, like the existing ones, these new clinics have contracts with all health insurance companies," announced the director of AKESO POLICLINICS, Mgr. Jiří Pichlík, DiS.

The new gynaecological outpatient clinic for women and girls from 15 years of age is run by MUDr. Filip Hron. He provides comprehensive preventive care and outpatient treatment of gynaecological diseases. He also provides urological-gynaecological consultation and offers comprehensive care for pregnant women from the beginning of pregnancy until childbirth in the prenatal clinic.

Examination of pregnancy diabetes is offered by the new diabetology outpatient clinic of Věra Prýmková, MD, which treats patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes as well as with so-called secondary diabetes - i.e. with various diseases accompanied by elevated sugar levels. It uses modern treatment options including home control with glucose meters, sensors and insulin pump therapy.

Neurology has been expanded to include the outpatient clinic of Sofia Fichtl, MD, who provides diagnosis and treatment for a full range of nervous system diseases for adults.

Adult cardiac patients are now taken care of by MUDr. Sotiris Skopoulis in his cardiology outpatient clinic. He also sees patients with suspected heart problems, even without a GP referral.

After dermatology and dermatovenerology, an outpatient clinic for aesthetic medicine was established in AKESO POLIKLINICE, which is constantly expanding its equipment. After the digital dermatoscope, we added a laser for skin and body treatments and other devices for wrinkle removal.
