We have built a state-of-the-art diagnostic centre in the Coral Office Park in Butovice, which since last year has served mainly mothers and children, but also other patients. In addition to outpatient care, clients can use a state-of-the-art radiology department and specialized outpatient clinics ranging from pneumology to allergy to neurology. Doctors here use advanced technical equipment with cutting-edge technologies from Siemens Healthineers, with which AKESO Holding has maintained an intensive and extremely successful cooperation for more than 15 years.
The DCNH staff searches for the causes of health problems in their clients, for example, by using the MAGNETOM Vida magnetic resonance imaging system, the Ysio Max digital scanning system with automatic X-ray adjustment, or the latest ACUSON Sequoia and ACUSON Redwood ultrasound machines, which are used in outpatient clinics. In all cases, these are high-end devices.

"We can't fault Siemens Healthineers because they are of very high quality and speed up the process of making an accurate and correct diagnosis for our doctors. These sophisticated devices, combined with their location in the friendly environment of our clinics, often make examinations that patients are sometimes afraid of more comfortable," says Mgr. Jiří Prokop, MBA, senior radiology assistant at DCNH.
An example of the most advanced medical imaging technology in the DCNH arsenal is the MAGNETOM Vida magnetic resonance imaging with a magnetic field strength of 3 tesla. The premium scanner with BioMatrix technology uses artificial intelligence to produce the highest quality images of soft tissue and skeleton. The device has sensors embedded in the pad to detect patient movement and cancel out movements from free breathing, significantly improving the quality of the resulting images. In most cases, this device allows for a reduction in overall examination time, which will be especially welcomed by children and claustrophobic patients.
"However, we also have another improvement for these groups of patients, which is special headphones and glasses, with the help of which they can watch various documentaries or cartoons during the examination. Feelings of fear and claustrophobia are also relieved by the display of blue sky with clouds on the ceiling panels inside the examination room," explains Mgr. Jiří Prokop.
