In terms of medical specialties, the polyclinic focuses primarily on maternal, child and adolescent care. However, as a modern provider of diagnostic and outpatient care, we also provide selected health services for adult patients. AKESO POLICLINIC thus offers its services for the whole family, in a very pleasant environment, with state-of-the-art medical technology and digital operation - i.e. without unnecessary paperwork. Our polyclinic is a continuation of the medical care of the Hospital Hořovice and the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Our facilities are contractual partners of all insurance companies.

The primary focus of our outpatient clinic for physiotherapy is on the treatment of newborns, infants and toddlers using the Vojta method for both central and peripheral musculoskeletal disorders.

The treatment of the youngest children always includes a clinical screening examination, which reveals the severity of the deviation and on the basis of which we determine a specific therapeutic plan. This is a process that involves the active cooperation of parents, who are taught how to work with their child at home using the Vojta method and how to manipulate them correctly during the therapy.

Prevention, which relies on early diagnosis, plays an essential role. Thanks to it, we can detect future deficiencies of the musculoskeletal system at a time when they are not yet visible at first sight. Based on this, we can start therapy early and prevent a number of movement difficulties that would arise during the patient's future development or adulthood.

The focus of early diagnosis and therapy is on premature newborns, at-risk infants with positive neurological or orthopaedic findings, as well as children with a slight deviation from ideal development.

We closely cooperate with other professions of AKESO POLICLINIC that are related to the issue of developmental disorders of the musculoskeletal system, such as counselling for at-risk newborns, pediatric neurology, pediatric orthopaedics and others.
