In terms of medical specialties, the polyclinic focuses primarily on maternal, child and adolescent care. However, as a modern provider of diagnostic and outpatient care, we also provide selected health services for adult patients. AKESO POLICLINIC thus offers its services for the whole family, in a very pleasant environment, with state-of-the-art medical technology and digital operation - i.e. without unnecessary paperwork. Our polyclinic is a continuation of the medical care of the Hospital Hořovice and the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Our facilities are contractual partners of all insurance companies.

The psychological outpatient clinic provides medical services for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with mental health problems and illnesses by appointment. We provide care to adult and pediatric patients and their family members. Crisis intervention or psychotherapy can be provided by appointment if the outpatient clinic is available.

Issues of patients who most often seek our outpatient clinic:

Phobic and anxiety disorders.
obsessive-compulsive disorder
eating disorders, non-organic sleep disorders
depression and other mood disorders
psychosomatic patients
patients with pain where pain control is not fully effective
neurologically ill patients
mothers during pregnancy and after childbirth
children with different psychomotor development
children with pervasive developmental disorders
children with developmental dysphasia, activity and attention disorders
we have psychiatric patients in long-term care

Ordering:
A referral from a general practitioner or specialist is required before an appointment can be made at the outpatient clinic .

Please send the request form to "recepce@akeso-poliklinika.cz" according to the type of indication we will adjust the length and spacing of the examination.

Please bring any relevant medical reports you have with you to the examination - e.g. from neurological examinations, speech therapy, psychiatry, etc.

The clinic does not provide special child psychodiagnostics and therefore children under 18 years of age are only accepted for care by prior e-mail appointment.

For a pediatric patient, it is also necessary to arrange for a legal guardian to accompany the patient.

In cases of diagnosis of school difficulties, please refer primarily to the Educational and Psychological Counseling Services, which deal with issues of school maturity, learning difficulties and gifted children.

Negative behavioural and educational difficulties of children are dealt with by educational care centres.

Crisis centres are available for children and adults in need of rapid psychological intervention.

Due to the nature of the workplace, we do not provide non-medical services such as assessment of eligibility to hold a firearms licence, traffic psychological examinations, etc.
