In terms of medical specialties, the polyclinic focuses primarily on maternal, child and adolescent care. However, as a modern provider of diagnostic and outpatient care, we also provide selected health services for adult patients. AKESO POLICLINIC thus offers its services for the whole family, in a very pleasant environment, with state-of-the-art medical technology and digital operation - i.e. without unnecessary paperwork. Our polyclinic is a continuation of the medical care of the Hořovice Hospital and the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Our facilities are contractual partners of all insurance companies.

Čelistní kloub, známý také jako temporomandibulární kloub (TMK), je kloub, který spojuje dolní čelist s lebkou. Hraje důležitou roli při mluvení, příjmu potravy a také přispívá k mimice. Jelikož je tento vazivový kloub neustále využíván, patří mezi nejvíce zatížené klouby v lidském těle. Kloub umožňuje dva druhy pohybů - rotační a translační, a je propojen dvěma klouby, jakékoli změny v jednom kloubu se tedy mohou projevit i na druhém.

Onemocnění čelistního kloubu

Onemocnění čelistního kloubu jsou poměrně častá a postihují zhruba 15-20 % populace a projevuje se v zásadě jedním, či kombinací několika příznaků.

  • bolest čelisti
  • zvukové fenomény - lupání nebo krepitace
  • změna hybnosti čelisti - ve smyslu omezení hybnosti, nebo naopak nadměrné hybnosti čelisti

Léčba čelistního kloubu

Klíčem k účinné a smysluplné léčbě onemocnění čelistního kloubu je správná diagnóza, která určí rozsah problému a zvolí vhodný postup léčby. Léčba onemocnění čelistního kloubu je založena na následujících základních pilířích:

  • Konzervativní terapie - Využívá nechirurgické metody, jako jsou léky a terapie zaměřené na zmírnění bolesti a zánětu (analgetika, termoterapie, domácí cvičení a nákusné dlahy)
  • Fyzioterapie a rehabilitace - Speciální cvičení a terapeutické postupy jsou zaměřeny na posílení svalů a zlepšení pohyblivosti čelistního kloubu.
  • Chirurgická léčba - V případech, kdy nechirurgické metody nepomáhají, se může uvažovat o chirurgickém zákroku k opravě poškozeného kloubu.
  • Rekonstrukce kloubu - V některých případech, kdy je čelistní kloub vážně poškozen, může být nutná rekonstrukce kloubu, aby se obnovila jeho funkce.
