Professor Karel Pacák was a guest of the health programme Vizita on TV Nova. In the interview, he explained how insidious and often overlooked can be adrenal tumours, which often occur without significant symptoms and are only detected during an examination for another reason.
At the AKESO POLICLINIC he treats patients with suspected hormonally active tumours. In his visit, he explained why correct diagnosis in time is crucial and what methods modern medicine offers in this area. He also shared his many years of experience in the USA and the approach he applies to patient care in the Czech Republic.
"When a tumour appears, people often associate it with stress or other common difficulties. But some symptoms - such as high blood pressure, palpitations or anxiety - can be a sign of this type of tumour," Professor Karel Pacák pointed out in an interview.
