In terms of medical specialties, the polyclinic focuses primarily on maternal, child and adolescent care. However, as a modern provider of diagnostic and outpatient care, we also provide selected health services for adult patients. AKESO POLICLINIC thus offers its services for the whole family, in a very pleasant environment, with state-of-the-art medical technology and digital operation - i.e. without unnecessary paperwork. Our polyclinic is a continuation of the medical care of the Hospital Hořovice and the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Our facilities are contractual partners of all insurance companies.

Our Sports Medicine and Sports Medicine Clinic provides comprehensive care focused on the health and performance of athletes of all ages, including mandatory examinations for sports school students (e.g. for admissions). Experienced physicians perform preventive examinations that assess fitness for sport and help prevent health complications. In the case of musculoskeletal injuries, we offer rapid diagnosis and effective treatment so that athletes can return to their activities as soon as possible. Our care also includes expert advice on training and recovery for optimal results. Both basic and advanced stress testing and laboratory tests are available, allowing for a personalized approach to each athlete's health and fitness.

The Sports Medicine Clinic caters to adults and children with the following needs:

  • Sports physicals for organized and unorganized sports.
  • Sports examinations for performance and elite sport, including the issue of a medical certificate of eligibility for sport (according to Decree 391/2013 Coll. on medical fitness for physical education and sport)
  • Compulsory examinations of students of sports schools (according to Decree 391/2013 Coll. on medical fitness for physical education and sport)
  • Examination and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries (muscle strains, sprains, fatigue fractures, etc.)
  • Diagnosis and care of overload and pain during sports (back pain, tendonitis, joint pain)
  • Advice on training, recovery and prevention of overuse injuries
  • Basic and specialised stress tests (ECG, spirometry, kinesiological examination, postural analysis, laboratory tests)
