AKESO POLICLINIC

In terms of medical specialties, the polyclinic focuses primarily on maternal, child and adolescent care. However, as a modern provider of diagnostic and outpatient care, we also provide selected health services for adult patients. AKESO POLICLINIC thus offers its services for the whole family, in a very pleasant environment, with state-of-the-art medical technology and digital operation - i.e. without unnecessary paperwork. Our polyclinic is a continuation of the medical care of the Hospital Hořovice and the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Our facilities are contractual partners of all insurance companies.

From June 29 to August 28, 2026, we will be available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., by appointment only.

Phone appointments or inquiries can be made through the call center every day until 1:00 PM at the latest.

At our AKESO POLICLINIC, the pediatrician providescomprehensive care for patients from newborns through young adulthood. The pediatrician provides preventive, therapeutic, and long-term care, as well as care for patients with acute and chronic conditions.

Right here at the polyclinic, pediatricians can collaborate with specialists from various pediatric fields and utilize state-of-the-art MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and laboratory facilities. This eliminates long wait times, trips to specialized examinations, and the stress of unfamiliar surroundings.

Childhood and adolescence are very important periods in a person’s life. That is why we prioritize long-term collaboration between the physician, the child, and the child’s parents. Mutual trust and a compassionate approach are essential foundations for proper care and oversight of the child’s optimal physical, mental, and social development.

We offer examinations usingthe Plusoptix device, a non-contact method of vision testing.

The examination itself takes only one second and is suitable for children from 6 months to 6 years of age.

Cost of the Plusoptix examination:

For patients up to 4 years of age (0–3.99), the examination is fully covered by insurance.

For patients 4 years of age and older, the fee is 600 CZK (applies to both registered and unregistered patients of the PLDD AKESO POLICLINIC).
